The problem can usually be solved by changing thedose, or by switching to a different medication.Remember, medication does not cure high blood pressure; it only controls it. Iflifestyle changes alone can’t keep your pressure down, you’ll probably be takingmedication for the rest of your life. If you need to take medication, here are some tipsfor making it part of your life:Keep your pills where you know you’ll see them and, of course, out of the reach ofchildren.Take them at the same time or with some activity that you do every day, say atmealtime or when you brush your teeth.Get your family to help you remember.
